Description
The Arctic Air ARCB36 Refrigerated Chef Base is designed for efficiency and durability in commercial kitchens. With a 38" width and a marine edge top featuring a 1" extension on each side, it provides a robust workspace. The unit includes two full-extension telescoping cartridge drawers that can accommodate 6" deep pans, with a capacity for two full-size pans or multiple 1/3 pans. Equipped with side-mounted self-contained capillary tube refrigeration, this chef base offers front breathing for optimal airflow. The electronic thermostat features an external LED display, allowing for precise temperature control within a range of 33°F to 41°F. Reinforced mounting points and stainless steel hook adapter bars enhance stability and usability. Constructed with stainless steel front and sides, the heavy-duty top includes an insulated ceramic fabric layer for added durability. Mobility is facilitated by four 5" plate casters, two of which are locking for secure placement. The unit operates with R290 Hydrocarbon refrigerant, delivering a heat rejection of 492 BTU/h, powered by a 1/3 HP compressor drawing 2.1 amps. It comes with a NEMA 5-15P cord and meets cETLus and ETL-Sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
