Description
The Arctic Air AST28R is a high-performance refrigerated counter designed for sandwich and salad preparation. This one-section unit features a compact 29"W design with a spacious 6.5 cu. ft. capacity, making it ideal for commercial kitchens. It utilizes self-contained rear-mounted capillary tube refrigeration for efficient cooling, with an electronic thermostat and digital LED temperature display that maintains a precise temperature range of 33°F to 41°F. The stainless steel top includes an 11-3/8"D cutting board, providing a durable workspace for food preparation. The unit comes with eight 1/6 size clear lexan pans, allowing for organized ingredient storage. Access is easy with a vaulted solid hinged self-closing door that has a 90° stay-open feature, enhancing workflow efficiency. Inside, the unit features a white ABS interior with a stainless steel floor for easy cleaning, along with one adjustable shelf for customizable storage. The stainless steel front and sides ensure durability and a professional appearance. Mobility is facilitated by four 3" casters, two of which are locking for stability. The Arctic Air AST28R operates using R290 Hydrocarbon refrigerant, with a cooling capacity of 492 BTU/h and a 1/3 HP compressor that runs at 3.0 amps. It comes with a NEMA 5-15P cord and is cETLus and ETL-Sanitation certified, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
