The Scotsman HID525WX-1 is a high-performance nugget-style ice maker and water dispenser designed for efficiency and convenience. It features Touchfree® infrared dispensing for a hygienic user experience and produces H2 Nugget Ice, known for its chewable texture. This water-cooled unit boasts an impressive production capacity of up to 500 pounds of ice per 24 hours at 70°/50°, and is AHRI certified for 400 pounds at 90°/70°. With a 25-pound bin storage capacity, the HID525WX-1 ensures a steady supply of ice. Its sealed maintenance-free bearings and removable bin simplify upkeep, while the SmoothStream™ water dispensing system enhances user satisfaction. The unit includes removable spouts and an enlarged 0.8" sink drain for easy cleaning, along with a recessed utility chase for streamlined installation. Constructed with a stainless steel evaporator and auger, the dispenser features an enlarged 11" dispensing area for accommodating various containers. A USB software upgrade port and unit-specific QR code provide easy access to updates and information. The stainless steel exterior is not only durable but also incorporates AgION™ antimicrobial protection for added hygiene. Utilizing R 290 refrigerant, the unit operates efficiently with a power requirement of 115V/60/1-ph and 9.0 amps.
