Description
The Scotsman HID540WX-1 is a high-performance nugget-style ice maker and water dispenser designed for efficiency and convenience. This Meridian™ model features Touchfree® infrared dispensing for a hygienic experience. It produces up to 500 pounds of H2 Nugget Ice per 24 hours at optimal conditions (400 pounds certified by AHRI at 90°/70°), ensuring a steady supply for any setting. With a 40-pound storage bin, this unit is equipped with sealed maintenance-free bearings and a removable bin for easy cleaning. The SmoothStream™ water dispensing system, along with removable spouts and sink, enhances usability. An enlarged 0.8" sink drain and recessed utility chase streamline installation and maintenance. Constructed with a stainless steel evaporator and auger, the HID540WX-1 boasts an enlarged 11" dispensing area for effortless access. It includes a USB software upgrade port and a unit-specific QR code for easy reference. The stainless steel exterior is complemented by AgION™ antimicrobial protection, ensuring durability and hygiene. Utilizing R290 refrigerant, this ice maker operates efficiently with a power requirement of 115V/60/1-ph and 9.0 amps. The unit is cULus and NSF certified, engineered and assembled in the USA, and comes with a 7.5-foot power cord featuring a NEMA 5-15P plug.
