Description
The Southbend CE-48S is a high-performance electric steam generator designed for efficiency and reliability. Featuring a 24" cabinet base and a freestanding design, it integrates seamlessly into various kitchen layouts. The unit is equipped with CSD-1 controls for enhanced safety and functionality, along with automatic blowdown and a split water line for optimal operation. Key features include automatic water level control, a pressure gauge, and water gauge glass for easy monitoring. The pressure control system includes a secondary safety pressure control and a safety relief valve, ensuring safe and consistent steam generation. The steam take-off kit allows for versatile use in different applications. Constructed with a reinforced countertop and a durable stainless steel exterior finish, the CE-48S is built to withstand the rigors of a commercial kitchen. It stands on four 6" stainless steel legs with adjustable flanged feet for stability. Operating at 9-11 psi and delivering 48kW of power, this steam generator is cCSAus and NSF certified, making it a reliable choice for any foodservice operation.
