Description
The Southbend GC-2S is a high-performance gas pressure steamer designed for efficiency and durability. Featuring a gas-heated boiler, this unit includes two spacious compartments, allowing for versatile cooking options. The 36" cabinet base provides ample storage space, while independent automatic timer controls ensure precise cooking times for optimal results. Equipped with electronic ignition for quick and reliable startup, the GC-2S also boasts removable shelf supports and a slide-out shelf for easy access and cleaning. The CSD-1 package enhances functionality with automatic boiler blowdown and a split water line, complemented by a water inlet with a "Y" strainer for condenser feed. Constructed with a stainless steel interior and exterior, this steamer is built to withstand the rigors of a busy kitchen. With a powerful output of 250,000 BTU and 73.3 kW/hr, it meets CSA-Star, CSA-Flame, and NSF standards, making it a dependable choice for commercial cooking environments.
