Description
The Southbend GC-3S is a high-performance gas pressure steamer designed for efficiency and durability. Featuring a gas-heated boiler, this unit includes three spacious compartments, allowing for versatile cooking options. The 36" cabinet base provides ample storage space, while independent automatic timer controls ensure precise cooking times for each compartment. Equipped with electronic ignition for quick and reliable start-up, the GC-3S also boasts removable shelf supports and a convenient slide-out shelf for easy access and cleaning. The CSD-1 package enhances safety with automatic boiler blowdown and a split water line, complemented by a water-in "Y" strainer for effective condenser feed. Constructed with a stainless steel interior and exterior finish, this steamer is built to withstand the rigors of a commercial kitchen. With a powerful output of 250,000 BTU and 87.9 kW/hr, the Southbend GC-3S is CSA-Star, CSA-Flame, and NSF certified, making it a reliable choice for any food service operation.
