Description
The Southbend GCX-10S is a high-performance gas convection steamer designed for commercial kitchens. This floor model features two compartments, each with a capacity for five 12" x 20" pans, allowing for efficient cooking of multiple dishes simultaneously. The 24" cabinet base provides ample storage space. Equipped with electronic ignition and an automatic blowdown system, the GCX-10S ensures reliable operation and easy maintenance. Each compartment includes a 60-minute timer for precise cooking control. The removable pan supports and drain trough facilitate quick cleaning and maintenance. This steamer meets the CSD-1 code package requirements and includes a split water line and automatic water level control for consistent performance. Additional features include a pressure gauge, water gauge glass, operating pressure control, safety high-limit pressure control, safety relief valve, and cathodic protector, ensuring safe and efficient operation. Constructed with a durable 304 stainless steel exterior, the GCX-10S is built to withstand the rigors of a busy kitchen. It stands on 6" legs with adjustable flanged feet for stability on uneven surfaces. With a powerful output of 200,000 BTU, this steamer is NSF and CSA Flame certified, as well as CSA Star certified, making it a reliable choice for any commercial cooking environment.
