Description
The Southbend MT-40EO-SB is a high-capacity electric tilting kettle designed for efficiency and durability in commercial kitchens. With a generous 40-gallon capacity, it features a manual tilt mechanism for easy pouring and serving. The 2/3 steam jacket design ensures even heating and optimal cooking performance. Equipped with electric controls, this kettle includes a low water cut-off for safety, a pressure gauge for monitoring, and an air vent for steam release. The safety relief valve and water level sight gauge enhance operational safety and convenience. An automatic cold water steam condenser system and automatic cold water boiler fill streamline the cooking process, while electric solenoid valves manage steam, drain, and water functions. The kettle also features a swing spout faucet for easy dispensing and a 2" draw-off with a removable strainer for efficient draining. A pan carrier and hinged spring assist cover add to its user-friendly design. Constructed with a 316 stainless steel liner and a closed base skillet, the kettle is built for longevity and easy maintenance. The stainless steel construction and (4) 6" stainless steel legs with flanged feet provide stability and support, meeting NSF standards for safety and sanitation.
