Description
The Summit Commercial LAB31 is a high-performance medical chest freezer designed for the secure storage of biological samples, chemicals, select vaccines, and antibiotics. With an impressive 11.1 cu.ft. capacity, it operates at ultra-low temperatures ranging from -50 to -86ºC, ensuring optimal preservation of sensitive materials. Key features include a high/low temperature alarm for monitoring, robust 4 1/2" thick walls for superior insulation, and electronic microprocessor controls for precise temperature management. In the event of a power failure, a 9V battery-powered audible alarm activates, providing an additional layer of security. The freezer features a lift-up door with counterbalanced hinges for easy access, a durable white cabinet exterior, and a steel interior for enhanced durability. It includes a manual defrost option, an exterior lock with two keys for reliable security, and a digital thermostat with both ºC and ºF readouts. Mobility is facilitated by four casters, with two front locking for stability. A front-located drain simplifies maintenance, while the hermetically sealed compressor ensures efficient operation. The LAB31 is 100% CFC free and CARB compliant, operating on 115v/60 with a 6 amp draw, and meets UL, ULC, and UL-S standards for medical use.
