Description
The Traulsen TBC5-50 is a high-performance undercounter blast chiller designed for efficiency and convenience in commercial kitchens. With a spacious 9.2 cu. ft. capacity, it features self-contained refrigeration and a right-hinged door for easy access. This unit can chill up to 100 lbs of food from 160°F to 40°F in just 180 minutes, making it ideal for rapid cooling. Equipped with four chill settings, it accommodates either five 18" x 26" pans or ten 12" x 20" x 2-1/2" pans, providing versatility for various food items. The intuitive touch screen control and USB port enhance usability, while the auto defrost feature simplifies maintenance. Constructed with a durable stainless steel interior and exterior, including sides, front, and bullnose top, the TBC5-50 ensures longevity and easy cleaning. It includes three removable food probes for precise temperature monitoring. The unit is mounted on 6" casters for mobility and is powered by a 3/4 HP compressor using non-flammable R-448A refrigerant. Certified cETLus and NSF, this blast chiller meets rigorous safety and sanitation standards.
