The Traulsen TU048QC is a high-performance undercounter blast chiller designed to rapidly cool food while maintaining quality and safety. With a spacious 9.2 cu.ft. capacity, it features a side mount self-contained refrigeration system for efficient operation. The unit includes one self-closing solid hinged door for easy access and two factory-installed wire shelves for optimal organization. Equipped with a microprocessor control and LED display, the TU048QC allows for precise temperature management. The hot gas evaporator defrost system ensures reliable performance and minimal downtime. Constructed with a stainless steel interior and exterior front and sides, along with a heavy gauge galvanized steel exterior for the top, back, and bottom, this unit is built for durability and easy cleaning. Utilizing non-flammable R-448A refrigerant and a powerful ¾ HP compressor, the Traulsen TU048QC meets cETLus and ETL-Sanitation standards, making it a safe and efficient choice for any commercial kitchen. Optional stainless steel tops are available for added versatility.
