Description
The Wells WVU-48SS is a high-performance ventless exhaust system designed for commercial kitchens. Featuring a 48" cooking zone, it utilizes horizontal air discharge for efficient ventilation. The system incorporates a comprehensive 4-stage filtration process, including a grease filter, pre-filter, HEPA filter, and charcoal filter, ensuring optimal air quality and safety. Equipped with a self-contained fire protection system and air flow sensors, the WVU-48SS enhances kitchen safety while maintaining compliance with Certified Type-1 standards. The unit includes three LED lights for improved visibility during cooking and an interlock system for added operational safety. Constructed from durable stainless steel, the WVU-48SS is built to withstand the rigors of a busy kitchen environment. It features adjustable legs for easy installation and leveling. The self-contained ANSUL® R-102 system provides an additional layer of fire protection. This model is UL Classified and cULus Classified, ensuring it meets rigorous safety standards. For maintenance, the WVU-48SS requires two pre-filters (model 22618) and one HEPA charcoal filter pack (model 23312). Additionally, it can be field converted to vertical air discharge, offering flexibility in installation options.

Essential notice: OWNER RESPONSIBILITY: Prior to initial operation of any Wells Mfg. Ventless unit, the provided UL300 Ansul fire suppression system needs to be filled with "Ansulex" and activated and certified by a certified and locally authorized ANSUL Fire Suppression contractor. This activation marks the beginning of an agreement between the Ansul agent and the owner, which Wells Mfg, its representatives, dealers, or service agencies cannot finalize. The cost will differ based on the specific Ansul agent and must be covered by the owner, not by Wells.
